ONE-STOP SOLUTION PROVIDER FOR THE FOOD INDUSTRY
The bread production line is the core equipment for achieving fully automated and large-scale production in the baking industry. An efficient and stable set of bread manufacturing equipment is the key to enhancing product competitiveness. The installation quality determines the stability of equipment operation and the quality of bread production. For bread production companies, bakery manufacturers, and central kitchens, a standardized installation process can effectively avoid problems during production.
This article will detail the process of installing a bread production line, including the preparations required before installation, the installation steps, installation issues, and precautions, to provide you with accurate reference information.
First, you need to confirm your site. We can provide a layout diagram of the production line for your reference, leaving enough space for equipment placement, personnel operation, and maintenance. The floor of the production area should be kept level from front to back. Any unevenness may cause the conveyor belt to deviate or malfunction during operation.
Check the voltage, air pressure, power, and other parameters of the equipment; lay out the wiring in advance; prepare cables suitable for the power; and ensure proper grounding. For bread-baking equipment such as rotary ovens, layer ovens, and tunnel ovens, you can choose from various heating methods, including electricity, gas, and diesel, depending on your needs. Additionally, lay out the pipelines in advance and ensure proper ventilation to avoid causing pollution in the production area.
After receiving the machine, first check if the wooden packaging box is damaged or wet. The transportation time is relatively long, which may lead to bumps, deformation, and loosening, especially for the control panels and electrical cabinets of the equipment. Compare the packing list and carefully unpack the entire machine's equipment, accessories, tools, and manuals to check if there are any missing or lost items. If there are any omissions or damage, please take photos and inform us immediately.
The installation personnel need to be familiar with the overall structure of the production line and installation specifications. Prepare the tools needed for equipment installation. We will provide manuals and photos of the entire machine, remote technical after-sales support, or on-site installation services. The entire installation process will be fully guaranteed.
According to the layout diagram of the production line, the dough mixer, dough divider, shaping machine, forming machine, baking equipment, and packaging machine are arranged in sequence. Each piece of equipment is equipped with adjustable feet, and the levelness of each piece of equipment is adjusted using a level and then fixed to prevent tilting.
After positioning is completed, the entire production line is installed and docked. Components prone to shaking, such as motors and conveyor belts, are disassembled and stored separately before shipment to prevent damage. After receipt, they need to be reinstalled. Check the bolts connecting various parts of the machine to ensure there is no loosening. Calibrate the height of the conveyor belts connecting individual machines to ensure smooth dough transfer between equipment without any jams.
After completing the connection of each individual machine and the main power supply of the production line, we will mark the wiring routes to prevent errors during connection. Fixed cable trays will be installed on the equipment for cable routing, which can be placed in the cable trays to prevent exposure and damage. After completing the wiring, we will recheck the wiring to ensure there are no omissions or loose connections, ensuring the safety and stability of the electrical circuit.
After completing the wiring, run the equipment idle for 30 minutes or more to check whether there are any abnormalities in the operation of the equipment. If there are any problems, correct them in time. After the idle run test without any abnormalities, conduct dough mixing, shaping, baking, and packaging tests. Adjust the operating parameters according to the state of the dough until the operation is stable and the quality of the finished products meets the standards, after which the official production can be started.
1. The equipment cannot be started.
Solution: Use a multimeter to check whether the input voltage is normal and whether there are any abnormal wiring situations; check whether the emergency stop switch has been triggered. The machine may have been accidentally touched during packaging or transportation.
2. There are abnormal noises during operation.
Solution: Check whether the machine's screws are loose and whether the drive chain and gears are misaligned, and recalibrate them. Add lubricating oil to eliminate vibration and abnormal noises.
3. The conveyor belt deviates, and materials get stuck.
Solution: Adjust the height of the rollers at both ends. Uneven heights can easily lead to deviations; if the tensioning wheels on both sides of the conveyor belt have different strengths (one side is tighter and the other side is looser), it will also cause deviations.
4. The surface of the dough is unevenly shaped.
Solution: Check whether the height of the rollers at both ends of the dough shaping machine is consistent. If there are differences, adjust the height; after daily cleaning, clean the rollers in time. Sticky dough can cause this problem.
5. Electrical leakage and electric shock.
Solution: Maintain a good ventilation environment in the workshop. Otherwise, the machine's shell may become electrified due to moisture. After the machine is installed, ensure that each standalone machine is independently grounded, and an electrical leakage protector can be installed.
1. Check the connection between the power supply and gas source before every use and production; the power supply cannot be loosened, and the air source cannot leak.
2. Places such as dough rollers and conveyor belts in direct contact with food should be made sure to be clean and free of debris. These places need to be kept absolutely clean.
3. Before formal production, start the machine and let it idle for a few minutes; observe the running status, see if there are any abnormalities, and eliminate possible hidden dangers in advance.
4. Clean the equipment immediately after the production is completed, and the residual flour on the surface can be sucked away with a vacuum cleaner first; wash areas such as food contact with food-grade cleaner and hot water to prevent residue.
5. Check the operation of the conveyor belt of the equipment every day to ensure the horizontal operation of the conveyor belt and prevent deviation; if it deviates, it will cause great wear of the conveyor belt.
6. Check the smoke exhaust situation of baking equipment every day, and clean off the oil pollution in time to avoid not cleaning the blockage for a long time, which will affect the discharge.
7. It is necessary to check the wear of bearings and chains of all transmission equipment every week and add food-grade lubricating oil in time to prevent dry grinding. It is best to make a manual to record the time.
8. Check whether there is any looseness, oxidation, etc. in the connection between electrical lines every month, and deal with any abnormalities in time.
9. Use an electronic thermometer every month to check whether there is any error between the temperature in the furnace and the real-time detection temperature of the sensor. When the error is greater than 2°, the sensor needs to be replaced in time.
A standardized installation process is the foundation for the long-term stable and efficient operation of a bread production line. Strictly following standardized procedures for installation and commissioning of the site, electrical systems, equipment, and personnel can effectively reduce the failure rate of equipment use and maintenance costs, ensuring efficient and stable production. Orange Mech can provide one-stop site planning, on-site installation, equipment commissioning, personnel training, and after-sales support worldwide, helping you achieve automation and standardization upgrades.
